Being out in the blue under the wide sky and in the middle of the most beautiful green of meadows, treetops and peaks – this is currently the cool thing to do. You are at eye level with the tops of the pines and larches here. We're not called Almgasthof for nothing, and we're not called Geisler for nothing. From our place, you have a view of the Villnöss and Aferer Geisler peaks like nowhere else. It's time to enjoy yourself. Just sit back and take in the view. Enjoy the beauty. And think about where you want to go next – and how. Hiking, cycling, motorcycling, paragliding, trail running ... no wish remains unfulfilled!

Wheelchair user? No problem! Our restaurant is barrier-free and there are many level and flatter hiking trails around us.

Most people holiday in the valley and then go up the mountain. But that's pretty boring. So let's turn it on its head. Because you're already up here with us, why not go down to Brixen for a day trip? You can reach the stylish town with its artistic and medieval flair via the paved mountain road or by gondola. Of course you can also run the route. That's precisely what the participants in the Brixen Dolomiten Marathon do.
