I am Hörby with the Derby, a real plate and glass yogi. The Almgasthof Geisler is not only my hobby, but like my baby. Yes, the melon to put on is really also called Derby! What, you've never heard of that? So ok ... it's not quite a melon either, but still. Cool rhyme, don't you think?
I'm kind of an alpine cowboy, the ranger on the Plose. I make the area safe and unsafe at the same time. Together with my team I take care of your physical well-being. It's the only thing the beautiful setting can't do.
I like to be chic and trendy for looking good next to these beautiful Dolomites. By the way, I've pretty much grown together with the mountains, just like my derby on the organ I think with. It's good for making jokes, it's almost a factory for it. I like to be funny and sociable, that's exactly what I'm professional in, and that's why I've become an innkeeper. I do my job with passion. So please note: At Hörby, there's always fun and sometimes also party! We don't have a lobby here, but we do have a cosy "Stube" – and a great terrace!
